Previous | Home | NextThis is a photograph of the St. Thomas Hospital in 1862 just before it was demolished. The tower of the church can be seen to the right. Behind the hospital is the London Bridge railway station which will replace the northern (left) side of the hospital complex. Note the chapel in the front courtyard, added after the original construction in the late 1700s.
